After 10 years I can say what he was good in chelsea in the end season 11/12 and season 12/13. In the season 12/13 in EPL he did 16 (goal+pass)

Fernando Torres for me as a Liverpool FC fan will always be a hero to me i remember when I was watching deadline day when I come home from school and Chelsea offered 50m and we accepted it I was gutted and sad that he left but he will always be my favourite striker I know Suarez came after he left and scored loads and then Salah came and is now the best in the world but for me Torres will always be my LFC hero

idc what anyone says he's not and never will be a traitor to liverpool if you think that then we don't deserve the goals he scored for us reds, he was one of if not the best player we ever signed and if the club didn't have his best interest at heart then we can not blame him, also its called freedom of choice he wasn't committing an act of treason or a crime he just wanted to progress and reach his goals so he did just that. and RIGHTFULLY SO, he NEVEr and I repeat NEVERR deserved all that nonsensical and unnecessary criticism he faced he is forever our Liverpool's No.9

This is one of the reasons i lost faith in Liverpool. The fans think they know everything about the club but dont know what was going on with the club itself. When Suarez, Alonso and Mascherano left you guys didnt say what you said now. Torres, like any other player wanted to win trophies. You cant blame him for that. Winning two international trophies and not a single silverware for club? of course he'd be fustrated. Worse when the club was going trough development in 2010 knowing it would take years for them to win or contend for the title. And he was 26 at the time. Obviously according to history Liverpool have always been a bigger club. But we havent been title contenders in a long time. This season we do have a chance. Leave the history out. This is a new era So if you really love your club as much as you say you do. respect the players as the respect you and play their all for you. cause the club certainly wont.
